The man in the display case
Gotlander, about 25 years of age, relatively slender. Approximately 162 centimetres tall. The skull is missing. No stab wounds on the bones. The fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae were fused, which would have made his throat and neck stiff.
The man was wearing a chain mail hood. In the grave he was lying on his stomach, face down with his right arm along his side. Left arm turned up with hand in front of chest.
